One of my favorite spots in town would have to be the International Civil Rights Museum. It's a great way to learn about the history of Greensboro while also taking in some beautiful art pieces from local artists.

Julian Price Park: Offers scenic views of downtown Greensboro and features walking trails that wind throughout the park's 80 acres.

The North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame: A museum dedicated to preserving the legacy of North Carolina athletes. 

The Greensboro Historical Museum showcases exhibits from local history and culture.

The Greensboro Science Center: Has a variety of exhibits that will keep guests entertained for hours! 

Greensboro is also home to a thriving art scene. There are always new exhibits coming in, so it is always a unique experience. There are various galleries around the town where you can view the works of local artists.

The Greensboro Cultural Center: Offers exhibitions and performances year-round, including dance, theater, opera, symphony, and arts education programs for all ages. 

If you're an outdoor enthusiast, then Greensboro has plenty of places for you. There is an extensive trail system that offers scenic views of the city, perfect for biking. If you love spending time outdoors with your furry friend, there are also several dog parks around town where you can let your pup run free and socialize with other puppies.

The Great Walk: An 11-mile bike path that features multiple trailheads.

Greenway Farm: A nature preserve with scenic trails where you can take in the views of Guilford County.

Guilford Courthouse National Military Park: Visits to the North Carolina militia defeated British troops during the American Revolution are free on Monday, April 16, for Patriot's Day.

Greensboro also has several public parks perfect for hosting events like birthday parties or picnics with the family.

Elm Street Park: Has a fenced-in playground, sidewalks, benches, and an open grassy area that's great for throwing a frisbee!

Rebound Skatepark: Features obstacles and rails that are perfect for skateboarding.

Washington Street Park: Includes walking trails, playgrounds, and open green space.

Finally, if you love shopping, Greensboro has several places to pick up some great deals. Whether you're looking for retail therapy or want to check out the local shops, there are plenty of options in town.
